We are so excited to be introducing Knitting and Yarn Crafts for Kids with Kira K!
Explore the world of yarn crafts and play with color and texture in this fun summer program. Make pompoms, including fun designs like hearts and fruit, finger knit narrow scarves or bracelets, make seven-strand kumihimo braids that look like jellyfish when in progress, weave a wall hanging or blanket for a stuffie, and knit a bunny or pouch.
The materials are provided for this series. This is a 5 series event. It will be held on the second and fourth Tuesdays from 4 - 5:30 pm. The dates for this series are June 13 & 27, July 11 & 25, and Aug 8.
Fee: $210
8 kids maximum
Age range from 8 - 13 years old.
We have another class right after, so please be early to pick up your child so we can have the following class start on time. (Our late pick-up fee is $1 per minute)

KEY CLASS DETAILS
- Duration: 5 - 1.5 hr sessions, 7.5 hours total
- Maximum 8 students per class; Minimum 3 students
Teacher Bio: Kira Dulaney has been teaching fiber arts classes and hosting crafty events in the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond since 2002. As a teacher, her focus is on providing valuable information in a stress-free environment and supporting students through the learning process. She is also the designer behind Kira K Designs, a line of original knitting and crochet patterns and kits featuring clean lines and intriguing details that are both interesting to make and easy to wear. Kira has taught at Estes Park Wool Market, Interweave Yarn Fest, Lambtown Festival, the Natural Fiber Fair, Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival, Stitches events, and TNNA, as well as numerous guilds and yarn shops.
