The Sewing Lab is a new offering here at the studio this Summer and Fall 2024. It is a pre-scheduled combination of day-use makerspace and project help. If you find that you enjoy the makerspace aspect of this lab but do not need any instruction, check out our makerspace membership here.
Bring your project and materials, and we will provide the space, equipment, and available expertise to help you achieve your sewing goals! Please read thoroughly before registering...
What we DO provide:
- 2 hour scheduled time to dedicate to your project
- Light instruction/help, as needed
- Sewing machine and/or overlock
- Table & seats for sewing
- Cutting table
- Measuring implements
- Pressing equipment
- A cool, air-conditioned community space
What we do NOT provide:
- Intensive one-on-one teaching / curriculum
- Materials and notions (fabric, thread, etc.)
- Patterns

Maximum of 4 makers to ensure equipment is available.
Makers must already know how to operate the studio's equipment. We do provide Classes and Private Lessons for this!
FREE to subscribing Makerspace members, with advance notice & reservation.
Ages 14 and up are welcome.
