Crochet Basics Clinic with Leslie Owen
Have you ever had an inspiration to crochet and don’t know where to start? Have you seen a crochet project that made you say, ‘I want to learn to do that!’. Then this class is for you. Crochet is fast and fun, and you will get hooked!
Learn to crochet the basics. In this clinic, you will learn how to start your project (chain stitch), work the basics of crocheting a row (the single crochet stitch), and to finish off your work (fasten off). These are the basic and foundation skills to doing a lot of crochet projects. We will also cover some tips and tricks in a fun, comfortable and supportive environment.
If you are a knitter, having a few basic crochet skills in your toolbox is always good. There are techniques in knitting that use crochet too. Although this class does not specifically cover those areas, getting comfortable with a hook and yarn is a good skill to have.
